About me & the facility!

Meet the trainer working with your pups!

Kaitlyn Arant

Owner/Trainer

My name is Kaitlyn Arant. I’m 29 years old and holding (lol). I have a Masters Degree in Management, a bachelor’s degree in Investigative Forensics and a huge animal passion. I am a Veteran of the US Air Force, serving Active Duty from 2014 until 2018 as Security Forces. It was during my time in the service that my love for training dogs was kindled. I went on from the Air Force to work for the US Government in the intelligence community for a few years and now I am transitioning to pursue a dream of mine and work at Charles County Sheriffs Office in Digital Forensics. I never seen myself as a business owner much less being able to build one from the ground up, but here we are. It all started in my basement and as a side hustle to make a little extra cash during Covid 2021. I grew up on a farm in Western North Carolina and landed in Maryland when the Air Force stationed me at Joint Base Andrews. It was here that I met my now husband, Dustin Arant in 2015. We ended up getting out of the military and settling eventually on this farm in Chaptico, Maryland. I was homeschooled and raised in 4-H and around every animal you can imagine, so my animal experience began early on in life. I have had dogs my entire life. I took 2 semesters of college courses including Animal Breeds and Husbandry, Animal Anatomy and Physiology, and many others. I have completed a couple of internships with dog trainers local to the area as well. I spent 3-4 years breeding German Shepherds and have a special place in my heart for the breed. I no longer breed, but I do still own 2 GSDs.

Main Kennel

For your furry friends over 35lbs!

Our main kennel offers spaces that are 6 foot by 4 foot in size to allow for even our biggest visitors. We also have standard crates XL for dogs who are used to a crate and prefer that!

Mini Kennel

For your furry friends under 35lbs!

Our mini kennel is a smaller version of the Main Kennel but is set up for all of our smaller furry friends. The spaces are 4 foot by 4 foot and the kennel has its own grassy play yard and a small kitty pool!
